It’s amazing how much we do to manage our energy. Morning coffee, mid-afternoon energy drinks, evening alcohol, night-time tea. We’ve become slaves to our energy fluctuations, doing our best to be our own chemist riding the waves of too little during the day and too much at night.

As a culture, we are working harder than ever to increase our energy during the day and lower our energy to go to sleep at night. And as we age it becomes more and more complex. You might be doing everything right: eating healthy, exercising daily, excellent nighttime routines, and making wise choices with your relationships, but you’re still exhausted without stimulants and an insomniac without sleep pills.
